Founded in 2017, Softwood Self-Publishing provides a full range of quality yet affordable self-publishing services, supporting authors every step of the way to self-publishing their book.

Softwood was founded by Maddy Glenn to support the writing and publishing journeys of authors who wanted to stay in control of their manuscripts. Since then, the team has supported the work of writers around the world and been honoured with various awards, including the Prestige Award for Self-Publishing Specialists in London and the South-East (UK) for two years running: 2022 and 2023.
