A Bloodstock Agent will advise on the selling, buying, managing and transporting of breeding and race horses for their clients they may also research the pedigree to assess the value of thoroughbreds being offered for sale. They will visit farms that breed horses to view and select foals for purchase, they will meet potential buyers to discuss their needs and determine which horse or horses would best fit them and will attend auctions and bid on behalf of the client.
No specific qualifications, working in horse racing/training would be beneficial. Knowledge may come from on the job training and experience
