Housekeepers will oversee the cleaning of establishments, this could be a school, hospital, nursing home or hotel. The Head of Housekeeping will be in charge of the cleaning staff and will sort out work schedules to make sure the cleaning is done in an effective and timely manner.
You'll usually need experience or qualifications in the hotel and hospitality industry to become a housekeeper.
You may also be able to start as a room attendant and work your way up.

Students who do not meet this standard will be supported to continue to study English and Maths through full-time education or an Apprenticeship.
Good customer service and communication abilities, attention to detail, stamina, a good level of fitness, health and safety awareness, as head housekeeper you would also need good leadership and motivational skills.
