Customer Service Adviser


Job Description

Customer Service Advisors deal directly with customers either face to face, on the phone or by email listening to their enquiries and dealing with them quickly and efficiently as possible. They will help promote the company and inform customers about the services and products that they offer and may have to also deal with customer complaints.

Entry Requirements

Most employers will require a minimum of five GCSE's (A-C / 9-4). An NVQ or degree in business, marketing, sales or similar would be an advantage.  You could start this job role through an apprenticeship scheme.

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, interpersonal skills, the ability to keep calm under pressure, patience, friendly and tactful personality, the ability to diffuse volatile situations, able to work well in a team, good organisation and time keeping skills.

Starting Salary

£14,000 to £17,000
