The goal of UTC Norfolk is simple: to develop tomorrow’s engineering, science and technology specialists. To do this, we aim to ensure that our students have the skills, qualifications and experience to go to university, degree level apprenticeships or to take-up skilled employment. Now in our ninth year, we have done just this. Our Year 13 leavers go on to study at top universities and to take up prestigious apprenticeships. We are especially delighted with our students’ success at securing higher and advanced apprenticeships - many of which are very well paid and offer excellent career progression.
We are being contacted almost daily by employers offering opportunities to our current cohort. If you are a young person interested in a career involving Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths, there has never been a better time to join us!
We own a fabulous site and a £10m construction scheme has provided us with a fantastic 21st century learning space. In this building, we have £1.3m of specialist engineering and scientific equipment that provides a unique learning experience for students. A school is, of course, much more than bricks and mortar and we have a huge team of people working to ensure UTCN is a success. We have the support and sponsorship of a number of significant employers and the sponsorship of the University of East Anglia.
You’ll find a wealth of information about UTCN on our website; however, the website is no substitute for actually getting a flavour of what UTCN can offer. Therefore, we encourage you to attend one of our future events or tours and come and talk to the people involved.
