About the Accountancy Industry

So you think accountant’s are boring number crunchers?! You’re wrong!

They are business experts and are vital to a company’s compliance with the law. They will make sure that the company accounts are in order, that the company and it’s employees are paying the correct amount of tax, analyse profit and loss as well as checking that all procedures are followed correctly and also advise on where to save money.

It is an accountants responsibility to have a thorough knowledge of the economy so that they can help the company to maximise it’s profits, you will therefore need an excellent knowledge of maths, accounting, finance and the law!

There is a lot to think about and it’s a big responsibility, but there is a fairly defined career pathway to follow. Find out more by following the links.
